Tetradic colors
Four colors made of two complementary pairs, spaced in a rectangle or square on the wheel.
Also called tetradic, square color scheme, double complementary
A tetradic (or square) scheme uses two pairs of complementary colors. It offers the most variety of any harmony.
With four strong hues it is easy to overdo; pick one dominant color and keep the others in smaller amounts.
