Tertiary colors
Colors between a primary and a secondary on the wheel, like red-orange or blue-green.
Also called tertiary color, intermediate colors
Tertiary colors sit between a primary and its neighboring secondary: red-orange, yellow-orange, yellow-green, blue-green, blue-violet and red-violet.
Together with primaries and secondaries they make the familiar 12-part color wheel.
