Metamerism
When two colors match under one light but not under another.
Also called metameric
Metamerism is when two samples look identical in one light, say in a shop, and different in another, like daylight. It happens because they reflect light differently across the spectrum.
It is why paint, fabric and print samples should be checked under the light they will be seen in.
