Cool colors
Greens, blues and purples: colors associated with calm, water and distance.
Also called cool color, cool tones
Cool colors run from green through blue to violet. They feel calm and tend to recede, which makes them good for large areas and backgrounds.
Like warmth, coolness is relative: a green with yellow in it feels warmer than a blue-green.
