Color profile
Data attached to an image or device that says which color space its numbers belong to.
Also called ICC profile, color profiles
A color profile (usually an ICC profile) tells software how to interpret an image’s color numbers, so a photo looks the same on different screens and printers.
Exporting web images in sRGB, or with the profile embedded, avoids colors that look washed out or oversaturated in some browsers.
